Privacy policy
Browbeat is a party guessing game run by Alesandro Gallaccio. This page explains what information is used when you play.
What stays on your device
You don't need an account to play. The game saves your settings, the packs you've unlocked and any name you type into the game in your browser's storage on your own device. We don't receive that information, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Payments
If you buy a pack, the payment is handled by Stripe and sold through Link, Stripe's checkout service. Stripe collects your payment details, email address and billing location to process the purchase, work out sales tax and send your receipt. We receive confirmation that the payment went through, which pack you bought and the email you used. We never see your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
If you use Restore purchases, the email you type is sent to Stripe to look up which packs it has bought, and only the pack names come back to your device. We don't store that email.
Ads
If you choose to watch an ad to unlock a pack, the ad is provided by Google. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see them and measure how they perform, and may show personalized ads based on your activity. You can learn how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and change your ad settings at adssettings.google.com.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Children
Browbeat is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
